Goal #12 - Buh-bye 24-hour fitness

As part of my 101 goals, I decided to either use or lose our gym membership at 24-hour fitness.

Well, given that Baby Boy is 10 months old and I was pregnant for almost 9 months, that's a total of 19 months where we only used the gym a few times and we've been paying those hefty dues the entire time. So, I made the executive decision (well ok, I did consult DH first) to cancel our membership.

It seems kinda backward since I still plan on being more healthy and active and working towards my goal to go down a dress size or two, but given that we're also on a budget and we've been throwing money at the gym and not benefiting at all, I am looking at other options.

So far I've been pretty consistent with walking the dogs every night and I've even added a walk/jog with the baby during the lunch hour. I'd like to step it up a notch and add some weightlifting, yoga, and aerobics but it's' a good start for now.
