I am very excited about this because I am happy about the results and I was so sick and tired of the ugly buttons on my bottom teeth.
I always get asked the question so I'll addresse it here. Would I recommend Invisalign?
Overall, I'd say yes. My experience was a positive one, except for the fact that I had to wear them throughout my entire pregnancy and that was not fun.
Being nauseous and vomiting unexpectedly and being hungry all the time meant having to remove the aligners, brush my teeth, clean the aligners and pop them back in several times a day. That got really old.
I also wasn't expecting the ugly buttons. They almost look like the brackets from the old-style braces, except for the fact that they are tooth-coloured and they don't put them on every tooth. I felt tricked into thinking that the aligners were truly invisible because the 1st set of aligners was nice and smooth and did not have any buttons.
In any case, I just have to phase my final bottom retainer in now and then I'll only have to wear both bottom and top retainers at night. Woohoo!
