My Grandmother is 92 years old and even though she appears to be in excellent health, there are a lot of people near and dear to her who are passing away, which is bringing her down mentally and emotionally.
So, I was really anxious that we make a trip to India and that she get a chance to meet my DH and Baby Boy while she is still in good health and has all her faculties. After stopping in Germany, we made our way to India and went to her house on November 24th, 2007.
We had a wonderful time. She has a very wry sense of humour, which DH really loved and appreciated and she absolutely adored her great grandson.
Visiting with her made the whole long and exhausting journey worth it.
